I’ve been on a number of excellent podcasts over the years, but I’ve never done a podcast where, at the end of the episode I told the host… “We need to do an Episode 2!”
Until now.
I met Sarah Dalton of the Your Simply Big Life Podcast and we hit it off immediately. Not only is Sarah extremely engaging, thoughtful, and fun, but she understands something really important about simplicity…
It’s not just about your stuff.
But you still have to deal with your stuff.
Sarah and I talked about how my 4-step LESS Method can help you simplify your stuff, schedule, finances, and health.
We dug into what a typical day in my life looks like and where I’m struggling to set boundaries right now.
We debated the pros and cons of paper vs digital planning.
We talked about the biggest fight in my marriage. (It involved a cat. True. You’ll need to listen to the end of Episode 2 to get the whole story on that one!)
We shared the 3-step mindset practice I use when I feel overwhelmed by my life (which, even though I preach minimalism and simplicity, happens more often than you might think).
Overall, I felt like Sarah allowed me to be myself. I didn’t feel pressure to come off as an “expert” or someone who knows it all. She made me feel comfortable enough to share my real fears, struggles, and how I’m working through them.
I hope that by sharing these openly with you, it might help you move past challenges and clutter that are keeping you stuck. Because like Sarah, my goal is to help you let go of what’s holding you back and open up to your bigger life!
